Winter is over. It is now time to clear the mountains of the waste left behind during the past season. That is why Engadin St. Moritz Mountains AG, in collaboration with the Skiclub Alpina and the St. Moritz Ski World Cup, with the support of the Summit Foundation, is organizing a Clean-Up Tour on Corviglia.
Meeting point:
Departure station of the Celerina cable car
(Truoch dal Runel 6, 7505 Celerina)
Program :
13:15 at the departure station of the Celerina cable car
An exceptional ascent is planned with the Celerina–Marguns cable car, followed by a special chairlift ride on Trais Fluors to reach higher altitude. From the top station of Trais Fluors, the clean-up begins on the various ski slopes from the past winter season.
Equipped with garbage bags and gloves, participants will walk back down to Marguns while collecting the waste left behind during winter.
As a thank you for your commitment in the magnificent mountain landscape of the Engadin, a snack will be offered in Marguns after the effort.
The return will take place as a group from the top station of the Marguns cable car around 4:30 PM.
Practical info :
Gloves and sorting bags are provided on site. If you have your own pair of gloves, feel free to bring them with you.
Feel free to bring something to snack on and a bottle of water (e.g., a reusable bottle) during the clean-up to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
The detailed schedule of the day will be sent by email to each participant a few days before the event.
Photos will be taken during the event and may be published on social media and/or the websites of the participating organizations.
