In spring, many things are discovered that were left behind in winter. To keep the area clean, the Lenk municipality, Adelboden-Lenk mountain railways and Lenk-Simmental Tourismus are organizing a clean-up day in collaboration with the Summit Foundation.
Meeting point: Werkhof Lenk
Program :
9h00 : Welcome to Werkhof Lenk, with coffee and croissants, followed by a briefing on the day's activities. All participants receive a packed lunch.
9h30 : Take the gondola up to the start of the pick-up, divided into sectors.
13h30 : Gondola descent
14h00 : Meet back at Werkhof Lenk, sort and weigh the collected waste.
15h00 : Closing the day
Practical info :
Equipment for the clean-up operation, such as gloves and rubbish bags, as well as lift tickets, will be given to you on site. If you have your own gardening or work gloves, you can take them with you.
Mountain footwear (hiking boots, trekking shoes)
Depending on the weather, protection against sun, wind and rain.
Snacks and beverages for a quick bite in the morning.
