In spring, we discover many things that were left behind during winter. To keep the region clean, the municipality of Lenk, the Adelboden-Lenk mountain lifts, and Lenk-Simmental Tourism, in collaboration with the Summit Foundation, have organized a Clean-up Day.
Meeting point: Rothenbach departure station
Program :
9h00 : Welcome of participants, welcome aperitif with coffee and croissants followed by a briefing of the day. All participants receive a packed lunch.
9h30 : Ascent by cable car and start of the clean-up activity, with distribution into sectors. The areas around the ski slopes and lifts will be cleaned.
13h30 : Gondola descent
14h00 : Return to the meeting point at the Rothenbach departure station, sorting and weighing of the collected waste, group photo and debriefing.
15h00 : Closing the day
Practical info :
Equipment for the clean-up operation, such as gloves and rubbish bags, as well as lift tickets, will be given to you on site. If you have your own gardening or work gloves, you can take them with you.
Mountain footwear (hiking boots, trekking shoes)
Depending on the weather, protection against sun, wind and rain.
Snacks and beverages for a quick bite in the morning.
