Saturday, June 20 CMA SA and Summit Foundation organize a clean-up day!
Meeting point : Departure of télécabines Crans-Cry d’Er
- Coming by public transport: stop Crans-Montana, Cry d’Er cable carTimetables & Maps)
- As the start is in Crans and the finish is at Les Barzettes, you can park directly at Les Barzettes and take the shuttle to Crans (approx. 12 min).
Otherwise, you will need to take the shuttle at the end of the route to return from Les Barzettes to Crans. Shuttles Barzettes → Crans at 16 and 36 minutes past every hour.
Program :
9h-9h15: Welcome, registration & participant gift at the departure station of the Crans–Cry d’Er cable cars and ascent to Cry d’Er.
9h15 – 9h45: Coffee / croissant at the Cry d’Er restaurant + Summit Foundation briefing
10h – 12h30/13h: Clean-up: several routes proposed*
13h15: Meeting point at the Seven – Raclette and drinks available – first 2 raclettes offered.
14h – 15h30: Weighing & sorting of waste, characterization, group photo, conclusion.
Practical info :
Tickets for the lifts, as well as gloves and sorting bags, are provided on site. If you have your own pair of gloves, feel free to bring them with you.
Suitable mountain footwear (hiking shoes, trekking shoes).
Clothing suitable for the weather; be prepared for rapid weather changes (extra layers in case of bad weather).
Feel free to bring something to snack on and a bottle of water (e.g., a reusable bottle) during the clean-up to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
The detailed schedule of the day will be sent by email to each participant a few days before the event.
