The Clean-Up Tour brings together litter-picking operations in mountain destinations in Switzerland and abroad.
On Saturday, July 18, 2026, it’s time for a large-scale clean-up. The mountains are so beautiful—we invite you to take care of them and make them even more appealing.
Meeting point: Bar le Tipi
Collection area : Between Thyon 2000 – Veysonnaz
Program for the day :
09h00 - Welcome: Meeting at the Tipi in Veysonnaz for welcome, coffee and croissant, briefing, and distribution of equipment. Participants can access the lifts free of charge (Veysonnaz gondola or Trabanta) upon presentation of their Clean-Up registration.
09h30 – Start of the clean-up (approx. 2h30): Waste collection in the Thyon and Veysonnaz areas. Formation of two groups.
12h00 - Weighing by the Summit Foundation: Weighing of the waste with the Summit Foundation, followed by sorting and a group photo at the Tipi.
12h45 – Social moment: Aperitif offered by Thyon Région and Veysonnaz Tourism. Lunch (picnic or restaurant) is at the participants’ expense.
14h30 – 14:00 – End of the event Possibility to descend using the lifts.
Practical info :
Gloves and sorting bags are provided on site. If you have your own pair of gloves, feel free to bring them with you.
Feel free to bring something to snack on and a bottle of water (e.g., a reusable bottle) during the clean-up to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
