On Sunday June 21, Airolo will be doing its bit for the environment and nature by rolling up its sleeves and putting on its gloves for a good clean-up.
The Clean-Up Tour brings together waste collection operations in mountain destinations in Switzerland and abroad.
Meeting point: Bar La Chièuna
Program :
- 9h00 : Gather at Bar La Chièuna, collect your equipment and find out about the day's activities.
- 09h45 : Groups depart for areas to be cleaned.
- 12h30 : Return, waste collection, weighing and sorting, group photo at Pesciüm
- 13h30 : Lunch at Ristorante la Stüa in Pesciüm
- 14h30 – 15h00 Downhill
Practical info :
Gloves and sorting bags are provided on site. If you have your own pair of gloves, please bring them with you.
Feel free to bring something to snack on and a bottle of water (e.g., a reusable bottle) during the clean-up to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
Details of the day's activities will be e-mailed to each participant a few days before the event.
