Winter is over and spring is already here. Now it's time to clear away the garbage lying around. That's why Firstbahn AG, Grindelwald Tourismus and the Summit Foundation are organizing a Clean up day.
Date: Sunday, June 16. 2026
Meeting point: Talstation Gondelbahn First
Program :
09h15 Meeting point at the lower station of the First gondola, distribution of gloves and rubbish bags.
10h00 Arrival at First top station, collection and instruction over coffee and croissants in the mountain restaurant. Participants receive a packed lunch.
10h45 Clean-up action begins in the First region
14h00 Meeting point at the First top station. Weighing and sorting of collected waste, group photo, debriefing.
14h30 Return by gondola.
The final schedule will be sent by e-mail to those who have registered.
Practical info :
Gloves and sorting bags are provided on site. If you have your own pair of gloves, please bring them with you.
Feel free to bring something to snack on and a bottle of water (e.g., a reusable bottle) during the clean-up to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
The detailed schedule of the day will be sent by email to each participant a few days before the event.
